All user data, including account information, billing records, session data and databases, is stored exclusively in Hetzner's data centre in Helsinki, Finland (EU). Individual projects may use additional infrastructure in other regions; persistent data remains in Finland wherever feasible.

Depending on the service used, Zesiger.net may collect:
- Account registration details (name, email address, password hash)
- Technical data (IP addresses, device type, browser information)
- Usage patterns and session information
- Financial data (billing address, payment metadata)
- Behavioural biometric data for security purposes
- Content submitted via contact forms or project requests
Legal Basis

Data Retention
Retention periods depend on the type of data: account data for as long as the account is active, plus a 90-day grace period; logs for 30–90 days; billing records for up to 10 years, as required by Swiss law; contact form submissions only as long as needed to handle the inquiry.
